Abstrak

This research aims to see "the influence of the work environment and organizational commitment on job
satisfaction among Jeunib Subdistrict Office employees. The place where this research was carried out was
at the Sub-district Head of Jeunib District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh. Data analysis techniques in quantitative
research use multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the regression calculations show
that the work environment and organizational commitment partially influence employee job satisfaction.
Furthermore, the work environment and organizational commitment simultaneously influence employee job
satisfaction at the Jeunib sub-district office, Bireuen Regency. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.725
indicates a strong relationship between the independent variables, namely the work environment and
organizational commitment, and the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction. In addition, the coefficient
of determination (R²) value of 0.525 indicates that the work environment and organizational commitment
contribute 52.5% to employee job satisfaction at the Jeunib Subdistrict Office, Bireuen Regency. Meanwhile,
the remainder, namely 48.5%, was influenced by other factors not included in this study.
