This study aims to determine the factors that affect employee job satisfaction. By knowing the factors analyzed, namely interpersonal communication, work motivation and physical work environment on employee job satisfaction, as well as the simultaneous influence of these factors. The study was conducted on 105 employees at the Department of Transportation of Bireuen Regency in February 2022. With a questionnaire instrument and statistical analysis methods based on the path analysis model. The results showed that; 1) there is a direct and indirect influence of communication factors made by employees on employee job satisfaction, with a contribution of 22.07%. 2). There are direct and indirect effects of work motivation on employee job satisfaction, amounting to 14.36%. 3). The results of data analysis prove that there is a direct and indirect influence on aspects of the physical work environment, both related to the environment that is directly related to employees, and the work environment that affects human or employee conditions, which is 10.10% on job satisfaction. and 4). The results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient and determination show that simultaneously the influence of employee communication, employee work motivation and physical work environment on job satisfaction of the employees of the Bireuen Regency Transportation Service is 46.60%, the rest is caused by other factors not checked, among others; compensation, organizational climate, employee education and training, leadership and others.
