Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on teacher work commitment  SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District. To get maximum results, the scope of data is obtained from respondents' answers through questionnaire questions distributed to 44 respondents, namely teachers SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the variable job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on teacher work commitment  SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District with a regression coefficient of 0.50 which means that the more job satisfaction that is felt by the teacher, the more work commitment of the teacher increases  SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District 50.4%. The results of the R correlation coefficient analysis are 0.552, which means the relationship between the variable job satisfaction and the variable work commitment of the teacher  SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District with a close relationship of 55.2%. R square determination coefficient value of 0.304 explains job satisfaction in influencing teacher work commitment SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District 30.4%. Adjusted R square value of 0.288 (28.8%) shows the amount of R square that has been adjusted, namely R2 which has been freed from the influence of free degrees, so it really shows the effect of job satisfaction on teacher work commitment  SMAN 1 Peudada Bireuen District.
