Abstract

Saline soil is currently not functioned as well as another agricultural land by farmers due the disruption plant growth and cause cultivated of plants withered, Paper chili is a widely used vegetable commodity in daily life because it is useful as a food flavoring and it contains substances nutritional substance which necessary for health. Study aimed The aim of study was to determine the effect of several types of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF); Glomus sp, Acaulospora and mixtures. And the production of several varieties of chili varieties namely Perintis, PM 999 and Lado on saline soil. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden, Plant Disease Laboratory and Soil Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh. It was held from August to November 2019. The design used in this experiment was a 4 × 3 Factorial Randomized Group Design with 3 replications, as the result there were 12 combinations. The results of this study that varieties have a very significant on stem diameter of 15 Days After Planting (DAP), significantly affect plant height 15 HST and stem diameter 30 DAP, but have no significant effect on plant height aged 30 and 45 DAP, age stem diameter 45 DAP, number of leaves aged 15, 30 and 45 DAP and The type of mycorrhizae had a significantly affected the stem diameter at 30 days after planting, and had no significant effect on the height of chili plants at the age of 15.30 and 45 DAP, stem diameter at age 15 and 45 days after planting. at the age of 15.30 and 45 DAP.
