Manajemen Pemeliharaan Ayam Broiler Periode Starter Di Pt. Expravet Nasuba Farm 1, Namo Suro, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Maintenance of broiler chicken starter period is a critical period, because this
period has a high risk of death if the maintenance management is not good. The
purpose of this activity is to determine the management of broiler chicken
maintenance in the starter period at PT. Epravet Nasuba Farm 1, Namo Suro,
Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. This activity was carried out on January 02 to
March 28, 2022. This activity was carried out through direct practice and
observation. The results of the activity obtained are broiler maintenance in the
starter period at PT. Expravet Nasuba Farm 1, Namo Suro, Deli Serdang, North
Sumatra covers the selection of good DOC seeds, feeding and drinking,
vaccination, giving herbal medicine, and administering medicine. The percentage
of live chickens during rearing reached 96.75%. It can be concluded that the
management of broiler chicken maintenance in the starter period at PT. Expravet
Nasuba Farm 1 is already good
