Abstrak

This study aims to examine, 1) the effect of exemplary action on student learning motivation, 2) the effect of the quality of human resources on student learning motivation, 3) the effect of work discipline on student learning motivation, and 4) the effect of work discipline on student learning motivation, and 4) the influence of exemplary, quality of human resources and work discipline on student motivation. . With a research sample of 83 students studying at Dayah Tauthiatuth Thullab Arongan, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency in 2021. The results of descriptive research; 1). The teacher exemplary factors have been good in supporting student learning motivation. The student exemplary assessment score reached 88.57%. 2). According to students, the quality of human resources is already good, reaching 88.47% of the ideal condition. 3). Teacher work discipline has shown good things, reaching 86.67% which is expected to increase student motivation, and 4). The level of student learning motivation has reached the very good category, namely 90.72% of the ideal condition. While the test results with the path model approach stated that: a). The exemplary factor of the teacher has an effect on student motivation, both directly and indirectly, by 29.31 percent. b). The quality factor of human resources can affect student learning motivation either directly or indirectly, amounting to 20.27 percent. c). The teacher work discipline factor can affect student learning motivation either directly or indirectly by 10.43 percent, and d). The simultaneous effect of exemplary variables, quality of human resources and teacher work discipline on the learning motivation of Santri Tauthiatuth Thullab Arongan in Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency, from the results of the statistical test of the correlation coefficient and determination of 60%. And the remaining 40% is influenced by other factors such as school culture, school climate, facilities, parental support, or other things that bind student learning motivation. The dominant factor that influences or contributes to student motivation is teacher exemplary.
